A renovation lives or dies on the trades turning up in the right order. Plumbing is early in that order and it comes back at the end, and if either visit goes wrong the tiler and the cabinet maker are standing around. Brad has done a lot of these. He knows the drill.

What the job involves
Plumbing on a bathroom or kitchen renovation comes in two halves.
Rough-in happens once the room is stripped. Brad runs the new water, waste and gas lines in the walls and floor to suit the new layout: shower moved to the other wall, second basin, island bench with a sink in it, dishwasher where there was not one before. Everything is positioned to the plans and the fixtures you have chosen, pressure tested, and left ready for the waterproofer and the tiler.
Fit-off happens after the tiling and cabinetry are in. Taps, mixers, shower heads, basins, toilets, bath, sink, dishwasher, fridge water line, gas cooktop. Connected, tested, working, no drips.
In between, Brad is around for the questions that always come up. Can the toilet go there? Will the floor waste fall properly? Is the old drain under the slab worth keeping? He would rather answer those before the tiles go down than after.
Working with builders and owner-renovators
If you have a builder, Brad works in with their program and their other trades. He has worked with plenty of builders across the Illawarra and knows the job is to fit the schedule, not to make the schedule fit him.
If you are managing it yourself, he will tell you what he needs from you, and when. Which fixtures, where they go, and when the room will be ready for him. He is happy to look at the fixtures you are considering before you buy, because some of the cheap online mixers do not suit Australian water pressure and will be back in the bin inside a year.
Gas in the kitchen
If the new kitchen has a gas cooktop, Brad handles that too. He is a licensed gas fitter, so the gas line, the connection and the compliance certificate are all done by the same person who did the water. One trade, one invoice, no finger-pointing.
Old pipes under new rooms
The thing nobody wants to hear halfway through a renovation is that the old drain under the slab is stuffed. Brad will put a camera down the existing lines before the room is stripped, so if the sewer needs relining or replacing you know before the tiles go on, not after.
